Safari Holidays Are Amazing, But Do They Work In The Caribbean?

So there is the good old fashioned African Safari, but what about the Caribbean Safari?? Safaris are not the first thing that I think of when of a holiday to St Lucia or anywhere in the Caribbean. Not many people actually consider what is on the islands, only what they are surrounded by.

Although you won’t be finding lions or many larger animals on one of these safaris there are many different and diverse animals living here. There are so many different species of birds across to the islands. Canada may be massive, but there are more species on tiny Trinidad. Frigate birds, Humming birds and various parrot species are among the fauna you can find over here.

Although there is not all that many animals on the islands, there is a massive amount of variety in the waters. If you want you can also embark on the water safari, this means you can hop on a boat and parade around the oceans. You will be seeing Whales and dolphins, and even a diving is optional if you have the proper training. The great thing about the Caribbean, is that you probably are not going to encounter all that many dangerous predators, in fact there are practically none. One i recommend that you do really watch out for, and why you should listen to your tour guide is the Alligator.

Try to appreciate the value that your tour guide can provide, you could learn something really interesting. They can give you some great information about the local area and the animals themselves. To find about these stories you need to travel on one of the rain forest safaris. So if you have the decision on a Kenya safari or a Caribbean safari, you should think about what kind of holiday you would prefer, the adventure strung Africa Safari, or the more relaxed Caribbean Safari?

Africa Safari is a great way to enjoy your holidays this year, especially with Botswana holidays or Zambia holidays!
